Project management on the operations ofnetwork creation and deploymentas part of the Mont-Mesly urban project

Mont-Mesly (94)

A changing neighborhood

All future operations on Mont-Mesly (and there are many of them) are part of a unique and large-scale development framework. Thus, the urban renovation project proposes substantial interventions and modifications to housing but also to roads and public spaces, to local shops and to school groups.

The project will allow Mont-Mesly to integrate a real sustainable dimension and thus acquire the status of Eco-district.

Impact of developments on networks

The development of roads and other outdoor spaces form an important part of this major project, in particular through the creation of a new structuring urban axis with green, pedestrian and landscaped spaces, connecting and distributing the major facilities of the district (media library place de l'Abbaye, new place des Émouleuses, Laplace college, PMI, Casalis school group, Maison de la Solidarité, Camus school group).

For the easternmost part of the perimeter concerned, along the pedestrian mall, a large opening will be left free towards the park which will be deeply redeveloped in the heart of the Émouleuses block. Fountain games will animate the pedestrian mall throughout its route.

The various demolition / construction operations as well as the development of new roads will have a significant impact on the existing networks. Major network diversion works (example: structuring outfall Ø1000 mm recovering rainwater from the districts of Haut du Mont-Mesly) are scheduled and reinforcements of existing networks are planned in coordination with the concessionaires to anticipate future needs on the neighborhood.
