Stormwater management

The proposed stormwater management makes it possible to control the risks of flooding through infiltration and the installation of retention systems (swales on either side of the main road).

The hydraulic study carried out by ATEVE included the following elements:

• preparation of calculation notes determining the volumes of storage of rainwater on different catchment areas for a rain with a return frequency of 15 years.

• establishment of calculation notes determining the volumes of the overflows for a situation of repeated heavy rains for several days in a row, during a storm, leading to the filling of the retention basins.

• analysis of the risks of possible overflow and issuance of recommendations that could lead to planning the evacuation of these overflows (flow network in pipes to the WWTP).

• proposal for the location of reservoirs with the search for an economic optimum.

• issue of recommendations on the upkeep and maintenance of ditches and basins, thus making it possible to limit pollution and contribute to maintaining a quality environment.

• establishment of a file " law on water " capitalizing all the proposals made within the framework of the study and retained by the client for presentation to the Water Police.
